As you say real GT5's are rarer than rocking horse sh*t and at the right price the UK car may not be as much hassle as you perceive to get into the US.

A day and half left to go and its at GBP 16,000, okay reserve not met, but hopefully it is set somewhere realisitc and lower than 'buy it now' which could make it a 'fair priced' example. Sea freight to the East coast via container should only run about $2K.

Coz brought in #9178 from Italy, so he has been there. It may pay to touch base with him as to the pitfalls of importation.

Also if you find you are at all interested PM Johnny Woods in the UK, he if anyone may know more of this UK car.

If I hadn't just purchased one, I'd be giving at least a cursory look at this car.
