I agree a roof scoop is not needed, but it sure is a way of getting cooler intake air charge. I also can understand about the roof structure - good points Jack.

If you can cut a scoop into the roof you should be able to to make it structral as well and not loose head room as it would be over the center of the car?

Looks like the Ring Bros car will be functional with the still capture. It also looks like they really reworked the bulkhead divider for structure too.
