Reply to "Rocky Mountain Rumble"

It was an amazing week!! Much thanks and recognition should be forwarded to the eastern Canadian owners. Without the huge commitment to transport their cars across the country, Rocky Mountain Rumble would not have been possible. We learned alot about what works and doesn't work on a car tour of this length of time and distance. All in all I think it was a great success.

Special mention is due to John Christian (J.C.) who not only drove his car all the way from Detroit Michigan via Reno and California (to pick up Mike Drew) but almost single handed kept the entire fleet of panteras road worthy for the entire tour. Humble and mild mannered, he probably knows more about old fords than any man I have ever met. It was a pleasure meeting him.

We had participants from Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Michigan and Washington. The cars varied from un-modified original to crazy modified. Every one unique in its own way. The owners/drivers varied from gentleman cruisers to, well, not so gentlemanly.
Everyone kept it safe. No accidents, no wildlife incidents, no speeding tickets (not one!)

For me, the best part was getting to say hello to the people I have met before, and finally getting to meet the eastern owners that I have been chatting with on this board for the last few years.

Thanks to all. It was an adventure I will not forget (until we get the chance to do it again).
