To me this just reflects the fact that auto design has gotten so boring people are turning to the past looking for distinctive looking cars. I remember a time when you could tell what make the car was from a mile away just because the cars shapes and appearances were all different from each other. Now a days you have to actualy walk up and look at the emblem on the car to tell who makes it.
This is why I dropped all my car magazines about new cars. They are boring. The only cars that have distinctive appearance are reserved for the well off. I seem to remember when just about anyone who could buy a new car could choose what he thought looked best and spoke to them. I remember waiting to see what the next years cars would look like because it was exciting. Now it is boring, they all look the same.
I have decide to find a new hobby. Cars no longer do it for me.
