Very sad news..

Ok, here is my Gary Hall story....

I was at the Poconos event back in 1997 or 1998, waiting in line to go out on the track during the lunch time touring group. There was a countach behind me and a Testarossa in front of me, and many other Panteras in line. Just before the line started pulling out onto the track, a pair of blue overalls comes up to my window...at least that was all I could see until he bent down. It was Gary and he proceeded to ask me a few questions about my car, the vin...the year...., Etc. He then said to me, "You have a very unique car here and I would like to talk to you some more about it when you are finished driving on the track. Please come and find me when your done".

It doesn't get much better than that. I'm driving on Pocono raceway, following a Testarossa, have a Countach in my rear view mirror, and THE Gary Hall just came up to me to tell me how special my Pantera was!!!

After driving around the track, I found Gary and we talked about my car.... He was such a nice and enthusiastic guy. This was the year Gary unveiled the Purple Passion GT5-S and my wife was able to get some seat time in it as that car was driven at 150mph.

My deepest sympathies to Bev and her family. Brian
