Just found out about Gary Hall...My stomach aches at the thought of him being gone. I had not had much contact with him in the last ten or so years as my cars drifted to other Italian marques....
BUT, back in the late 70's, I had my treasured Mangusta, lived in Hermosa Beach CA., and would often make the not so far drive to Bellflower. As most of you had stated, Gary had time (or would MAKE time) for me at every visit. Told me to "buy extra Ansa mufflers, becuase you'll need them" which I did.
At the old Riverside race track, I managed on several occasions to "bum" a ride around the track with Gary. I get chills just remembering those time......
They say in life you are lucky to have 5 or 6 friends, or a few people in your life who matter. Today, I just lost one.....
