Well the lock-wire goes through the head of one ring gear bolt to next to keep the bolts from backing out, you would need to a sample to understand. It's not a job for everyone!
To do it right you should remove the diff, pull the old bolts out and remove the ring gear off the diff , this is to get out all the oil, clean the threads in the ring and re-install, use NEW ring gear bolts with RED loctite and torque to 65lbs, now you can wire the bolts using a backwards S like a #2
pattern to pull the bolt heads locked down together.I would look at the diff internals as it's apart and replace the $10 thrust washers and check the laminated disc for wear. You will need two side cover gaskets and a pan gasket.
