Yes you can choose credit card payment, but as I understand it, one of the problems people have had with PayPal is if you stop the credit card payment (even if it is legit as your case would be), they will take the funds from your bank account if you have verified the account. Yup, that's the way that I read it so I refused to give them bank information. I just drain the PayPal account $500 per month which is the limit and will do so until its dry. They try to force you to become verified now. You now have a total withdrawl limit which will basically force you to become verified to withdraw your funds. You can still buy with the funds but cannot request checks. I guess that they've gotten screwed and are taking steps to minimize their losses.
