Lowe, I measure 21mm from the top of the spring body to the inside edge of the hook on the short side---and about 75mm on the long side. That puts the body of the spring about 36mm. I think 5.5"/140mm is a fair dimension measuring to the center of each hook. Good luck ! Lee
