There's no Canadian requirement, that a vehicle be exported from the USA, prior to its importation into Canada. That's a US Customs requirement. Some Canadian's skip that part of the importation process. If the Pantera in question was never exported from the USA and the seller still has the US title, you may be able to simply register the vehicle as you would any US vehicle. As Doug M. mentioned, the Canadian seller would have to be the one driving the car across the border and he/she could not mention the fact the car has been sold. If the seller in Canada wasn't the person who imported the car, I'm not sure how you'd find out whether or not the car was properly exported (from the USA) before being imported into Canada. If you asked US Customs, it might raise a red flag.
