The SEMA show is NOT open to the general public.
You need to have credentials that you are in some way associated with the Automotive industry. (Much more than just a business card that says. "Joes automotive")

Every year I see lots of people getting turned away at registration.

The outdoor exhibits ARE open to the public and there is TONS to see. No Registration Required.
