Reply to "series 1 Engine covers"

You've gone to some amount of trouble here. Such aftermarket center covers are readily available from Pantera East and other vendors, mostly with extra height to accomodate taller air filters or intake manifolds. I think Kirk Evans first offered these in '85-87 for his Amerisport GT5-S's, then branched out to include early cars too. Most have an extra 2" or so of center height for less cost than the stockers. They're fiberglas, unpainted. Some vendors (P.I among others) offer carbon-fiber side pieces & (I think) center engine screens. As a further note, the center screen for '71-'75 (at least) Panteras are one width while the later 'wide-body' cars after about 1985 take a narrower screen that looks the same, so they won't interchange, at least with stock side pieces.
