Reply to "Shameless MSD plug"

I too had a problem with a MSD 6AL box TWICE!! I was at the Detroit Autorama and spoke to a MSD rep that was working for the Ramchargers (local speed shop) about my problem. I had just received my box back (for the second time) repaired again and was inquiring about doing a dual box thing with a switch like the Nascar boys. The rep was concerned and felt I shouldn't have to do that but because of my repeated problem took my phone number and said MSD would be in touch with me. I thought that would be the end of it. I was probably 2 rows and 15 minutes away from the speed shop exhibit when I got a tap on the shoulder, turned around and to my surprise the MSD rep was there. In that time he had called MSD got a return authorization number for me and indicated that MSD would be sending me a NEW NASCAR box (with weather tight quick disconnect connections and the electronics encased in a plastic resin) to avoid vibration and resonance. Again skeptical (too good to be true) I waited but to my surprise a new (not rebuilt) box arrived with all new connectors etc. I was most impressed and felt this plug is the least I could do for them. All has been fine since. I know some have had problems with their boxes but others have used them for years and swear by them. All I know is that my car runs better with the MSD and does not load up as much especially using a single plane Torker intake.
