I talked to Roland late last year and he did sell all of his stock. He wouldn't say who the buyer was, just that is was a non-commercial buyer. This would mean that it is unlikely that any of his old stock will come up for sale on the open market.
Potentially this would give you a better chance, since one large parts supplier has ceased to do business and his old stock is off the market.
