Shift Problems

Took the car out over the weekend. Got a few miles out, when i went to down shift, didnt want to go into 1st, and made a slight grind when i tried to get reverse. Need less to say, i nursed it home. Shifted into all gears fine with engine off. Car doesnt lurch or creep if started in 1st with clutch engaged.

Question:
Do you think this is a linkage/shift gate problem or a slave/master/line problem?

Replaced the master and the slave 2 years ago. I havent had any trouble since then. Car has sat quite a bit the past year without driving.

Im thinking my first course of action will be to bleed the slave and the lines, to make sure there isnt any air in there.

Any other recommendations? ZF has low miles, i doubt (any pray there isnt) any internal problems with the trans.
