Shock and spring question

I'm about to purchase a set of shocks and springs for my car. Was thinking of going with the QA1 DR5855 11 5/8 compressed and 17 extended, the car currently has solid rods so I could get an esimate for the ride height and shock dimensions. Currently the rods are around 13 1/2. My question is which spring rate would you recommend and should I go with a 9" or 10" tall spring.
