It's easy. You compress the springs and the spacers come out. It lowers the car all around. I think the story was that in order to meet US bumper or headlight regulations, the spacers were installed to raise the car. You'll have to remover the shocks from the car to remove the spacers so it's also a good time to replace any bushings too. My car had 3 different sized spacers. The 2 in the back were different. Since most Panteras aren't square, it's was an opportunity for the factory to correct the ride height in my cars case. The car will look better at the original as designed ride height.
