Reply to "SINDLE LH with steel "shaped washer" ???"

When you look at it from the picture that I am seeing, it almost looks like the end of a ”speedy sleeve”, Which is designed for the repair of damaged shaft.

But if the washer is free, floating, and will slide along the spindle, that can’t be it. Normally that end of the speedy slave would be, but it up against the flange on the inside (top of your picture).

I have been wrong a lot lately - my wife points it out to me all the time. But I just thought I’d throw that out for you to take a quick look at, and to tell me that I’m all wet.

Normally, this part of a speedy sleeve is removed and discarded after installation.
