Reply to "Sizing Brake Masters?"

I ran into this when I built my MGB. My MGB has a GM 3.4l V6 and little on the car is stock. I converted the rear to disk and put larger dic brakes ont he front. I basically started from scratch.

I built an excel spreadsheet which started at pedal ratios, cyl throw, volume, brake pad coeficient, brakine pad radius, tire radius, etc. It was a lengthy spreadsheet.

From there I chose a master cyl. I wanted to be close because it was non boosted. It had to be close. I also used this to help balance the correct calipar size front and back.

I really did not know how well it would work till I tried it. Over 3 years and 3,000 miles I think I nailed not only brake pedal ratio, pressure but also balance front to back.
