No my car does not have a skid plate. The bottom of the bell housing has been shortened and I can say that I have not had the misfortune of having hit any road hazards with either the oil pan nor the bell housing. FWIW I have 245/50R15 & 305/50R15 so the car sits quite low and I can say that My car had been driven more miles than most Mangusta. 8000km in 5 years.
