Just picked up my polished long throw slave from Byars and will try that first to see if it helps. The aluminum one I had was leaking. Hot damn Byars sure did polish it up good! He even chromed the snaprings, nuts, etc. Maybe I will just use it as a paper weight for a while and just look at it.
