Slave cylinder

Just installed a new aftermarket clutch slave cylinder from Hall Pantera. I assume it's a longer throw, so how should it be adjusted? What's the difference between it and a stock unit? Also, it seems just a tad narrower than stock and is moving from side to side. It seems not to move fore and aft. Has anyone had a similar experience with this unit?
