The replacement cylinders adjust exactly like a stock one; the difference is a slightly longer body with a smaller internal bore. So for the same distance of push on the pedal (and a timy bit more effort), the slave piston travels further, opening the clutch up a little more. If the cylinder is loose, thats a question for the vendor who sold you the thing. But if it was me. I'd remove the cylinder and smack the top of the steel mount slightly, to distort it & pinch the cylinder a little more & stop any rattles. Or, RTV or 'Liquid Nails" from the carpenters section of your hardware store, spread aroundthe cylinder/mount area would do the same without brutality....
