I put my cylinder in a metal lathe and ran three bands of med. to course knurling around it. Then painted it with a permatex make a gasket to make it more solid. It works perfect. By the way you can buy new/better/thicker snap rings, for the cyl., at Orchard Supply Hardware. Marlin.
