OK, with the engine block bypass plate replaced with a solid replacement, except for a small bleed hole, THEN a Windsor thermostat is acceptable.
I just don’t understand, when the OEM-style block off plates and thermostats are readily available, why anyone would modify the Ford engineered cooling/bypass system. 🤷♂️
