Another thing you should keep in mind when buying parts is, there are three quite different engine screens. Early screens were all-screen, 73-74 screens had a metal insert in the center for slightly more air cleaner clearance but otherwise interchanged with the all-screen part, and the post-Ford '80s cars had slightly different dimensions between the solid side panels- so their screens are smaller. Thus a late screen will not fit your '73 without alteration. The vendors will know this, but not E-Bay sellers.
