You can only put the BFG spare up front if it is on the 14 inch rim. I have one from a Mustang on a 15 inch rim and it will not fit the front. A friend has the original 14 inch and it fits in the front. Mine barely fits the larger part of the back opening. Of course most of the time I dont carry a spare since the size is wrong, you need to inflate it, and it is so old and cracked, it would probably not last a mile. I have used it one time in 19 years. The first year I owned the car.
