And tell them you only plan to "see what it will do" once a year at the PCNC Vegas Track Event. Such as the plan is, you'll continue being a law abiding citizen in good standing in their community, with the error of your ways behind you, thanks to their insightful lecturing....

Keep a straight face to pull this one off in court! I suggest you make the offer to the police officer and juddge "in chambers" and out of earshot of the rest of the gallery in the coutroom. They may thumb thru your court file and see your driving record is pretty clean and let you go with a deferred sentence, meaning no more traffic infractions for a specified period of time....
