...NO!! I turned Mine CLOCKWISE to tighten! But, There wasn't enough Room to get 'That' big of an 'Open End' or 'Cresent' Wrench on it, until, when I had the Engine and Trans out of the car. Maybe You'll have better 'Luck'. It was loose about One Turn; for a long time. I doubt that there was any damage done...
