I do not normally drive at night yet when I have it was not what I wanted when I could not see my gauges; so I went to Kirk Evans at Ameri-Sport for an answer, he modified the two gauges by adding two (2) extra lamps at the 4 o'clock and 7 o'clock position (he welded the extention tubes to the gauge pod that accepts the 5 watt bulbs) after I experienced the results I modified this additionally by building "Lamp extensions" that position the lamps closer to the gauge face. These "lamp extensions" are 20mm long (less than an inch). This modification has produced the desired results in that at night I can see clearly the two gauges. I also tinted the bulbs red (my wifes nail polish). works great.......
