yes it was complete, I initially planned to remove the old cable from the housing and put the new cable into the old housing but I recall that the old housing may have been a half inch or so too long, so I needed to use the new housing. Working from the dash I taped the new transmission end to the old dash end and used the old one to pull the new one into place. It followed the exact same routing as the old one. Since I had my console out I pulled it as far as the firewall and then untaped them and fed the new one through the firewall and back to the transmission.
