Reply to "speedometer ratio?"

Larry is correct, the angle speedo drive in the ZF is available in four variants two each for VDO and Veglia Borletti (taking different style cables), depending whether your speedo is km/h or mph (ratios are 1.1:1 or 1:1)

The back of your speedo will also be stamped with a ratio either 1600 rev/mile or 1200 rev/mile, so it sounds like you have the 1200 version and 1/100 of a mile would thus be 12 revolutions of the cable. But that is for stock tire diameter, so you will need to calculate the difference in tire diameter for your 335/35-17 to stock and ratio the difference in distance traveled for one revolution of the wheel.

Personally I think the best apporach is to do a number of runs at varying speeds with the car and use a gps to measure speed, write down the speedo reading and gps to get an error.
