FWIW, most wiper-motor problems are really slight corrosion in the multipin connector that hooks the motor to the wiring loom. Spraying the connector out with Radio Shack Contact Cleaner fixes it. Failing that, the arcane reversing switch pasted on top of the wiper motor also has contacts that can be cleaned by spray, but be VERY careful in taking the fragile plastic cover off- it breaks easier than a good dream....
