No. One side goes to the starter and the other side is the battery positive (+12 volts) terminal.

One of the large terminals will be marked "BAT". Connect the battery positive cable to this terminal. Connect the other large terminal to the starter.

One of the two small terminals will be marked "S". Connect the small wire to this terminal.

The other small terminal, marked "I", is unused.
