Steel rear quarter reinforcement

I bought these metal pieces in the photo years ago for restoration, the dude said they go in the top pillars of the rear quarters to reinforce that area. Looks like a simple piece, and they have a curve to it as well. Thought I would show for anyone doing restoration.
