'Rose joints' are called 'Heim joints' or rod-ends in the U.S. Speedway Motors in Nebraska sells sealing washers for 'joints' where the original boots are nonexistent or hard to locate- 6 per pkg for around $12. Each joint needs two. Dirt-track racers use them extensively.
