One of the biggest problems in comparing any stock cam to contemporary cams is, the cam grinder industry stadardized on duration specs at 0.050" lift as acceleration ramps were sort of proprietary & everyone had their own type, which add to the duration measured from zero but in fact do little fuel-air flowing, hence the 0.050" lift spec. All the OEM factories used "something else" for duration- it varied with the year, and the factory involved. So remember, its close to impossible to truely compare a NOS cam to one made later, by published specs.
