Here is my experience with both Scat and TMD ( The Mustang Depo), they offer kits that are either undeliverable ( SCAT took more than 4 months without deliver), or when delivered the parts are not able to be used together without extensive machine work and replacement. The kit from TMD had the following faults:
The counterweights on the cranc hit the pistons,
Had to grind of the counterweights, and replace the removed material with mallory.
The oil rings was wrong, and had to be replaced.
Obviously they just collect some parts, and ship without checking.
Will hopefully be bench testing my 408 cu inch next week, after numerous challenges.
