Last year when I took my '70 T/A out of storage, it did the same thing as your car. Was your car left in gear during storage? Somehow, I believe that the clutch/pressure plate/flywheel assy got stuck together. I finally got it unstuck by putting it in neutral, foot off the clutch & crank it over w/the starter. After you're rolling, tap the brake. Sounds unorthodox, but after a few tries, something broke loose & I haven't had any trouble since. I've never had this sort of problem with my P-car, but then again, that's the first time it happened to the T/A in the 18 years I've owned it. Good luck & let us know if it works.
