Suddenly hard clutch pedal

A fellow owner reached out to me trying to understand why his clutch pedal has suddenly become extremely hard to depress.

It is a Centerforce clutch with about 2000 miles on it. He reports no strange occurrences, funny noises or vibrations. He has checked under dash linkage and slave linkage and sees nothing out of sorts.

I believe Centerforce pressure plates have movable weights and a blockage of clutch fluid are two other possibilities I’ve suggested.

Anyone have any other possible issues to check?
