These decorative 'spoilers' are available from all the vendors including PPC-Reno, who also owns molds. Also called 'Boxer' spoilers, they were the result of a rare design mistake by Ferrari. The original mid-70s Ferrari Boxer was carbureted and had its intakes at the rear of the decklid. Then Ferrari found that at high speeds, the sugar-scoop decklid (just like a Pantera) caused airflow to arc way up over the carb intakes, causing the engine to go lean and burn valves. The little spoiler bent airflow downward enough on a Boxer to prevent this from happening. On a Pantera with its far-forward carb intake, they are sunshades....
