Reply to "Supercharged Coyote engine."

Hi doug.

I have made lot of the structure in the car in 1,5mm and 2,0mm steel. The Inner rockerpanel and the mettel rockerpanel is made in 1,5mm steel the A and B pillar are also made in 1,5mm trying to make the car stronger.
The structure around the front windscream/Roof and Door frame Will be made in 2 x 1,5mm steel plate.

If it is a pantera or a " kitcar" When it is finish ? I dont know, and i dont Care.

I dont have any intension to make it look like a Ferrari Lamborghini or any other existing exotic supercar.

It is my Dream of a new version of a Pantera and no plastic all steel.

I am trying to keep the design in the "retro look"

Just like on the new Mustang, camaro and Challenger.

Kjeld.

You are at a place with your Pantera where it is possible to do this now before you put the sheet metal skin back on.

Now you have the possibility of adding that structural reinforcement without it being intrusive into the cabin.

Granted there are going to be those people who find all that tubing desirable and an "industrial design/art statement", but here is your opportunity. Big Grin

Also, even with a rear entry to the intake manifold, you still may not have enough room UNDER the rear deck lid?

How "worth it" is all of this re-engineering going to be? When it's done, is it still a "Pantera" or something else that just looks like a Pantera like some kind of a "NHRA Funny Car" with a plastic body that just lifts off?
