Question 1: all the a-arm bushings are identical as stock. If someone's been in there, its possible they installed bushings (usually urethane) that are thicker-flanged on one side than on the other. This is a cheap way of getting one extra degree of caster, since you're changing bushings anyway
Q-2: Front & rear shocks are listed as different, possibly because the spring/shock assembly uses heavier springs in back and thus needs more damping in back.
Q-3: Battery cables in early cars were run inside the right rocker panel. Not sure if GT5-S cars had the same inner design of rocker panel to make access for cables and AC hoses. Kirk Evans in Ohio would know, though.
Q-4: Your gas tank is probably leaking through a crack in the 2-1/2" dia hose that connects the tank to the outside fill cap. If you do this yourself, be sure you use real fuel-proof hose, not radiator hose which will crack just like this in a year or less. Also, Pantera gas tanks sometimes rusted through from the outside-in, as they were never painted at the factory. Unfortunately, to check, you have to remove the engine and transaxle, then the tank. If yours is perforated thru the metal, very careful use of a 'sloshing' compound may seal it for a while. But sloshing coatings are sensitive to MTBE gas additive, and incautious adding of the stuff may plug up your fuel feed line, delending on which tank you have. Be careful!
