Wasn't there an outfit in Cali that did billet suspension arms and used common off the shelf and inexpensive balljoints? This would probably be the way to go. Bite the bullet early in the restoration process.

I think the vendor's aftermarket suspension pieces all go with the original (read expensive) ball joints..
