Tach wire tap in

I need to tap into the Tach Wire (blue with black stripes)inside the car. I can do it at the back of the tach gauge, but it's really hard to get to.

Can anyone tell me where I might look for an easier place to tap in? Does the wire come into the car anywhere on the fuse box side of the car?
