Paul - Call Pantera Perf. Center in Castle Rock, CO. (303-660-9897). Ask for the wiring diagram for using the MSD6A on the Pantera. They will fax it to you. I used the same ignition on my 71 without any problems. If that doesn't help you may have a problem with the tach. Good luck.
