To answer ur question, the rear deck lid construction we talked of is carbon thru out. He says the reason its heavier than expected is its made for road rather than track use, - the race version is lighter.

Is your CF rear hood made of 100% carbon fibre? I would've expected a weight around 13 lbs or so. Wilkinson sells a combo CF-Fibreglass rear deck that weighs around 25 lbs.
