Talk to me about Spark Plugs...

Folks, I am looking to go up a heat range or 2. However, I just found out that my current Autolite 26 spark plugs that I am running are the hottest range there is for this plug type. As in there are no Autolite 27 or 28. The local Napa and one speed shop where unable to cross reference this Autolite 26 to a Champion or a NKG equivalent. My best research tells me that a NKG UR45 is the same as a Autolite 26. I think that if I can find the same plug made by someone else, I will just look up the next hotter heat range and buy a set of those plugs....what do you think? Going to Pocono CSD this weekend..........whooo yaa !!!! Doug.H
