I'm restoring my 71 at the moment and after reading several articles and browsing through the forums , I've come to conclusion that the stock gauges in this vehicle (shall we say are not the best) If your guage is showing 150 degree's and it was correct you would probably have the coolest running pantera out there, I'd be willing to bet it's actually running a lot higher. Still researching some affordable options as far as guages are concerned but I'm sure others on this forum will be able to have some valuable input.
