There was a discussion on this Forum very recently about the best location for the temp sending unit. I think within the last 10 or definitely 30 days. Best location is on the engine block as I recall. Seems there's an area of low water flow that doesn't register properly when the sending unit is located in the original location on the radiator. Best to review those posts though.
